Chad Coatney is the owner and founder of Master Movers LLC, a Florida-based moving and delivery company known for its professionalism, reliability, and customer-first approach.
Originally born in Sarasota, Florida, Chad spent part of his youth in a small town in Illinois, an experience that shaped his work ethic and appreciation for hands-on labor. After briefly attending community college, he made the decision to return to Florida in search of greater opportunity and to avoid pursuing a path that did not align with his long-term goals.
Chad’s entrepreneurial journey began while working for his family’s auction company in Venice, Florida. There, he gained extensive experience handling furniture, managing logistics, and learning the true market value of household goods. This knowledge led him to begin flipping furniture on the side—sourcing pieces from garage sales and reselling them through auctions—quickly discovering a strong aptitude for identifying value and generating profit.
As demand for his services grew, Chad expanded beyond furniture resale into delivery and moving work. What began with a single 6×12 trailer soon evolved into a full-scale business after securing delivery contracts with large furniture retailers in the Sarasota and Bradenton areas. Recognizing the long-term potential, Chad made the decision to build a legitimate moving company from the ground up.
Today, Master Movers LLC operates with a fleet of five box trucks and a team of ten employees, earning a strong reputation across Southwest Florida. Chad attributes the company’s success to relentless hard work, perseverance, and a commitment to treating customers with respect—principles reflected in the company’s motto, “Movers With Manners.”
