Dr. Edward Seiler is an economist with over 20 years of experience in financial services. He currently serves as Associate Vice President for Housing Economics at the Mortgage Bankers Association.

His responsibilities include performing economic and econometric research to support MBA’s forecasts and policy positions, writing research reports, and supporting MBA’s affordable housing initiatives.

Crystal brings over 20 years of leadership experience in federal acquisition, contracting, compliance, and workforce development. Most recently, Crystal led large-scale compliance programs and workforce initiatives across multiple federal agencies at GSA’s Information Technology Category (ITC). She’s built her career driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and regulatory leadership at the highest levels of government service, with earlier roles at GSA, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and private industry supporting the U.S. Navy.
